New Car

We are a small group of people who help Ramon Presant race a 1984 Rover SD1 V8 in the Streetstock class at the BNT/MoreFM Upper Hutt Speedway in Wellington, New Zealand.

The class is a "low" budget class (about the cost of an basic home computer) with limited modifications allowed, run on a 1/4 mile dirt track oval. Contact is allowed so winning means you are fast, can spin or push the guy in front out of the way and can avoid being spun or passed by the guy behind. Sounds easy eh?

I have decided to give the Speedway scene a rest. I've had enough of the dirt oval to last me for quite a while.
I'm currently building a new race car for the use on tarmac circuits, in club racing, and in the Targa NZ.
Watch this space for updates.

Last of the reports are on the reports page.

We have Video
There are video clips of some racing from previous seasons. This is no longer updated. Each clip is about 160 to 450k so be patient when downloading.
You will need QuickTime 4 or better to view the video clips so check your browser plug-ins first or download Quicktime from the Apple site (PC and Mac).

Pictures
Pictures and video from various seasons. We adding to the pictures all the time as good shots come up. Thanks to Dale for the action shots. Pictures are for sale at his website.

There's a picture (from a video still) in the gallery of Ramon on the wall and also video of how he got there. Check it out. (This is the only video that does not require Quicktime on Windows PCs.)
